Disorders of the Scrotum and Testis treated by Dr Morgan Pokorny include:
Testicular cancer is a rare condition. Most often the patient detects it himself when feeling a lump in the testicle. Most testicular cancers can be very successfully treated, with very high cure rates for most types.
Fluid around the testicle (hydrocoele)
Fluid around the testicle (hydrocoele) is a fairly common problem, which is not cancerous. Treatment involves a brief operation to remove the fluid and the sac that produces the fluid.
Epididymal cysts are small collections of fluid located in the sperm collection apparatus attached to the top of the testicle (epididymis). Symptoms include pain and discomfort with activities. These can be removed with a small day-surgery operation.
